Did you know that Lake Taupo is still an active volcano? Twenty-six thousand years ago the Taupo volcano was responsible for the worlds largest known eruption. Tess and Paora went to Te Papa to meet Dr Hamish Campbell. They found out some really cool, and exciting things about how our busy little country works around all our volcanoes, but also some quite frightening things such as when the next big eruption might be and how it will affect us.
